New projects featuring PaperFaces Designs

Pop-up Present Card, featuring PaperFaces Designs
Not that one could tell by this blog, but I've but in the eye of a real crafting storm for the past few weeks. Sometimes I feel like I have two crafting moods: too many insane ideas, and no ideas at all. Recently, however, I've discovered a third: working on another version of an idea. Wild, I know.

Therese at PaperFaces Designs shared part of her upcoming Christmas holiday series with her design team, and I just love all of them. Our Holiday projects will post soon, but I couldn't help but use a couple of the angels for everyday cards.

Pop-up present card supply list: ColorB
รถk card stock, DCWV Blossoms & Butterflies paper, HP color printer, generic matte photo paper, Galena metallic ribbon, Zip-Dry glue, Tim Holtz scissors, PaperFaces digi stamps: Angel Stacie and Angel Goldie.

"If you can make a book, you can do anything."

A wise woman told me that recently. It might not make as much sense out of context, but it certainly feels true after a day of making this book. It's the 5th piano-hinge book I've made in the past 2 weeks, and I just can't stop! This one is 2.72 x 2 inches.

The poem I used is one I wrote a couple of years ago, and recently revised...I feel like it has a home now. And I hope this inspires you to look up piano hinge bookmaking...you just need paper, scissors, and toothpicks or skewers. You could make it in your kitchen!

Oh, and if you're wondering what a poemoir is...I wanted the title page to look official, and this looked better than "a memoir-ish poem, without a narrative." That just doesn't look good in print!
